Command Center

Command Center Overview

Command Center

The Command Center is the heart of TradeTorq. It's your real-time trading dashboard where you see all open positions, execute trade management actions with Command Keys, and monitor your account's performance live.

Layout

The Command Center is organized into distinct sections:

Top Section — Insight Cards

Four summary cards at the top showing your key metrics at a glance:

  • Balance — Current account balance
  • Equity — Real-time equity (balance + floating P&L)
  • MTM P&L — Mark-to-market profit and loss with SL/TP indicators
  • Exposure — Total open position volume

Middle Section — Command Keys Grid

The 5×4 grid of action buttons — your one-click trade management panel. Each button executes a specific trade action across your positions. See Command Keys for full documentation.

Lower Section — Positions Table

A tabbed table showing:

TabWhat it shows
OpenAll currently open positions with real-time P&L
ClosedRecently closed positions with final P&L
PendingPending orders waiting to be triggered

Right Panel — Command History

The right side dock provides access to your command execution history, showing what actions were executed and their results.

Real-Time Updates

The Command Center uses Server-Sent Events (SSE) to stream live data to your browser. This means:

  • Prices update automatically — No need to refresh the page
  • Position P&L recalculates live — Watch your floating P&L change in real-time
  • Equity and balance reflect instantly — Any changes from trades or fills appear immediately
  • Animations show changes — Values flash when they update, so you never miss a change

Connection indicator

Look for the small pulsing dot in the top area of the Command Center. A green pulse means you're receiving live data. If it turns yellow or red, your connection may be degraded.

Getting Started with the Command Center

  1. 1

    Select your master account

If you have multiple MT5 accounts, use the Master Selector dropdown to choose which account to view and manage.

  2. 2

    Review your positions

The Open positions tab shows all your active trades with entry price, current price, volume, P&L, SL, and TP values.

  3. 3

    Use Command Keys

Click any Command Key button to manage your positions. For example, click SL→BE to move all stop losses to breakeven.

  4. 4

    Monitor your results

After executing a command, check the command history for execution status and results.

Position Interactions

You can interact with individual positions in the table:

  • Right-click a position to access a context menu with per-position actions (close, modify SL/TP)
  • Click on SL or TP fields to quickly modify stop loss or take profit for a specific position
  • Sort columns by clicking column headers (symbol, P&L, volume, etc.)

Keyboard shortcut

Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) anywhere in TradeTorq to open the quick search.
