Managing Payment Methods

To update your credit card or add a new payment method:

  1. Go to SubscriptionBilling tab
  2. Click Manage Payment Method (or Open Billing Portal)
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure billing portal
  4. Update your card details, add a new card, or remove old ones
  5. Changes take effect immediately for future charges

Secure payment handling

TradeTorq never stores your credit card details. All payment information is handled securely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security.

Billing Cycle

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly
  • Your billing date is the day you subscribed (or the day your trial ended)
  • Charges are automatic on each billing date
  • Failed payments are retried by Stripe over the next few days

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. Your subscription status changes to Past Due
  2. Stripe retries the charge automatically over several days
  3. You'll receive email notifications about the failed payment
  4. Access continues temporarily during the retry period
  5. If all retries fail, the subscription is eventually canceled

To resolve: Update your payment method in the billing portal, and the next retry should succeed.
