Command Center
Master Selector
Master Selector
If you have multiple MT5 accounts connected to TradeTorq, the Master Selector lets you switch between them in the Command Center.
How It Works
The Master Selector is a dropdown located at the top of the Command Center. It shows your currently selected master account and allows you to switch to any other connected account.
When you switch accounts:
- The SSE stream reconnects to the new account's data
- All positions, balance, equity, and P&L update to reflect the selected account
- Command Keys and automation actions apply to the selected account only
- The insight cards update with the new account's metrics
Selecting an Account
- 1
Click the Master Selector dropdown
Located in the top section of the Command Center, click the account dropdown.
- 2
Choose your account
Select the MT5 account you want to manage. You'll see the broker name, account number, and current status for each account.
- 3
Wait for data to load
The Command Center will reconnect to the selected account's live data stream. This takes 1–2 seconds.
What Switches and What Doesn't
| Changes when you switch | Stays the same |
|---|---|
| Open positions | Your login session |
| Balance and equity | Sidebar navigation |
| Floating P&L | Search functionality |
| Command Keys target | Theme settings |
| Automation configs | |
| Command history |
Per-account automation
Automation engines (Trail SL, Ladder TP, Auto BE, etc.) are configured per account. When you switch accounts, you'll see the automation configurations specific to that account.
Account Indicators
Each account in the dropdown shows:
- Broker name and MT5 login number
- Status dot — Green (healthy), yellow (pending), red (error)
- Account type — Standard, PRO, ECN, etc.
Only accounts with a Healthy status will have full functionality. Accounts in error states may show stale data or be unable to execute commands.
