Positions

Positions

The positions table in the Command Center shows all your trades in a tabbed interface. Each tab provides different information about your trading activity.

Open Positions

The Open tab shows all positions currently active in your MT5 account:

Real-Time Updates

Open position data refreshes automatically via SSE streaming:

  • Prices update continuously without page refresh
  • P&L recalculates as prices change
  • New positions appear automatically when opened in MT5 or via Command Keys
  • Closed positions disappear from the open tab and move to the closed tab

Per-Position Actions

Right-click on any position to access the context menu:

  • Close Position — Close this specific position at market price
  • Modify SL/TP — Change the stop loss or take profit for this position
  • Close Partial — Close a portion of this position's volume

Closed Positions

The Closed tab shows your recently closed trades:

Syncing trade history

If your closed positions tab is empty, go to Accounts and click Fetch History or Sync History for your account. This downloads your closed trade records from MT5.

Pending Orders

The Pending tab shows orders that haven't been triggered yet (limit orders, stop orders).

These orders will execute automatically when the market price reaches the specified level.

Sorting and Filtering

  • Click column headers to sort by that column (ascending/descending)
  • Positions are grouped by symbol for easy scanning
  • P&L values are color-coded: green for profit, red for loss
